2nd BioHorizon Regional Brokerage Event

BioHorizon will host its second Regional Brokerage Event in Prague, Czech Republic, on 6th November 2017. The brokerage event will take place as a side event to the 8th International Symposium on Recent Advances in Food Analysis (RAFA2017).

This partnering event will provide participants with the opportunity to meet potential collaboration partners for the 2018 topics within the Sustainable Food Security call to be published as part of Horizon 2020’s Societal Challenge 2  ‘Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine, maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy’. The official publication of the 2018-2020 Horizon 2020 work programmes is planned for November 2017, making this the perfect opportunity to start building consortia! BioHorizon invites all NCPs to disseminate this information among your clients and stakeholders.

Registration is open to any and all interested researchers, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders active in the area of food and nutrition, and is not limited to participants of RAFA2017. Participation in the brokerage event is free of charge.

The main part of the event will comprise bilateral meetings between people interested in the same topics. Following successful registration for the event, participants can pre-arrange these bilateral meetings automatically by means of a sophisticated, user-friendly matchmaking tool based on the profiles and research interests submitted to the system by participants.

The event programme will also provide a limited number of attendees a platform to present their project ideas in 5-minute flash presentations. Details on how to apply will be included in the registration form.

Registration for the brokerage event is expected to open in early October. You can already communicate your interest in attending HERE and the organisers will contact you directly once the registration is open, at which point you will be able to access the registration form and submit your personalised research/cooperation profile.
