BioHorizon NCP webinar on ‘The Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR)’

We invite all NCPs to participate in this webinar organised as part of the training activities for Bio-NCPs produced by BioHorizon. This webinar will be hosted in cooperation with the CASA (Common Agricultural and wider bioeconomy reSearch Agenda) project, initiated to support the Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR).

Held by Dr. Rolf Stratmann (Coordinator of the CASA project and Bio-NCP, Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH), the webinar will focus on:

'The Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR)'

The aim of the webinar is to raise NCPs’ awareness of SCAR and to highlight the relevance of the standing committee in relation to EU project funding applications and during the implementation of projects, whether the focus is on research, on innovation or on coordination and support. The webinar will introduce the different organisational levels of SCAR, a brief history of the evolution of SCAR from 1974 to 2018, the relevance of SCAR for EU projects, and the role that CASA plays in providing support to SCAR.

This online session is free of charge but registration is obligatory. Please note that only NCPs will be accepted.

The training starts on the 19th December 2018 at 10:00 am (CET) and will take approx. 1 hour.
