Events

The conference is expected to be a corner stone in the evolution of the BIOEAST Initiative. It targets to set the bioeconomy research and innovation agenda for HORIZON 2020 and HORIZON EUROPE. The high-level meeting is meant to present and validate the research and innovation needs of the macro-region by topics covering among others agricultural knowledge and innovation systems, fresh water and aquaculture, forestry, sustainable production and processing of biomass. The conference outcome should feed into the Central and Eastern European Bioeconomies’ Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.

The audience of the conference will include high-level government representatives and officials of public administration on the one hand, and researchers as well as industrial actors on the other hand. In the framework of the BIOEAST initiative we expect these stakeholders to participate from the Central and Eastern European macro-region.
