4th BioHorizon Bioeconomy Stakeholder Workshop for Bio-NCPs “Promoting Innovation in the Agri-Food Sector: dialogue between Bio-NCPs and EIT-FOOD”

The 4th BioHorizon Bioeconomy Stakeholder Workshop for Bio-NCPs will take place in Brussels on the 23rd October 2018 and back to back to the High level event “Sustainable & circular Bioeconomy, the European way”, organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation on the 22nd October.

This time it will focus on the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), and EIT Food in particular. The workshop aims at identifying the synergies for promoting the cooperation between the EIT FOOD activities and the Bio-NCPs community, contributing to a better understanding the EIT ecosystem and KICs related to the food sector, creating effective communication channels.

By connecting consumers with businesses, start-ups, researchers and students from around Europe, EIT Food supports innovative and economically sustainable initiatives which improve our health, our access to quality food, and our environment.

Participation in the workshop is open to all BIO NCPs. 8-10 NCPs from non-BioHorizon Member States (MS) or Associated Countries (AC) will be selected for reimbursement, on a first come first served basis (one NCP from each MS or AC).

GUIDELINES FOR TRAVEL COSTS REIMBURSEMENT: Specific conditions for participation in the BioHorizon activities are highlighted in the BioHorizon document “Guideline for NCPs”. For more details: (borgna@apre.it; dirosa@apre.it; sabini@apre.it).
